The skies above the infamous Mount Panorama were transformed during the Repco Bathurst 1000 with an unforgettable Kayo Sports drone light show. This breathtaking 20-minute spectacle, featuring 500 drones, captivated the crowd of 193,219 spectators and illuminated the Bathurst region with stunning visuals and intricate storytelling.
The show included iconic scenes such as a giant race helmet, two Supercars racing down Conrod Straight, and the legendary chequered flag. Skippy the kangaroo even made a memorable appearance, delighting audiences of all ages. The grand finale showcased a towering 200-metre-high Peter Brock Trophy standing proudly over Brock’s Skyline, paying homage to the history and spirit of Australian motorsport.
Coordinated with precision, the performance required special airspace clearance to ensure it could be seen across the entire Bathurst region, seamlessly integrating with filming helicopters for a truly cinematic experience.
